Faitlovitch, Jacques
(1881 -1955)
   Polish researcher and activist on behalf of the Falashas. He went to Ethiopia in 1904 and spent 18 months among the Falashas. He published Notes of a Voyage Among the Falashas and organized committees in Italy and Germany to raise money for their education. Later he continued with his activities on the Falashas' behalf in the US and Israel, and published books on their literature.
